Join a leading Tier 1 Australian infrastructure provider at the forefront of the nation’s energy transition. We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale utilities projects, specifically focusing on High-Voltage (HV) Substations and Transmission Line infrastructure.

A Day in the Life

In this leadership role, you will be the driving force behind project success, managing multidisciplinary teams and high-value client relationships. Your day-to-day will involve:

• End-to-End Delivery: Planning, executing, and finalising major power infrastructure projects for key utility clients.

• Team Leadership: Managing project teams to ensure accurate, timely delivery according to strict schedules, budgets, and scopes.

• Quality & Compliance: Overseeing rigorous quality control throughout the project lifecycle to meet and exceed all technical objectives.

• Resource Orchestration: Acquiring resources and coordinating team efforts to ensure efficient, safe, and timely operations.

• Business Operations: Applying sound business practices across commercial management, procurement, HR, and financial reporting.

• Safety Culture: Championing Safety and Quality Assurance (QA) through clear communication and technical leadership.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Industry Expertise: Extensive Project Management experience within the Utilities/Infrastructure sector, with a specific focus on High-Voltage Substations and Transmission Lines.

• Construction Knowledge: A robust understanding of construction principles within a multi-discipline contracting environment.

• Commercial Acumen: High-level business skills with the ability to create, interpret, and analyse budgets, financial statements, and variance reports.

• Leadership: Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and mentor diverse project teams.
